Mike Gunter
Founding PartnerMike is passionate about client service and leading people. He founded The Gunter Group in 2011 with a different philosophy on consulting and building teams. He enjoys watching people grow, develop, and discover their true path. Mike is a visionary and forward thinker with extensive multinational experience and a proven track record of serving clients. With more than 25 years of business leadership and consulting in a wide variety of challenging and ambiguous environments, Mike got his start in the industry at Deloitte Consulting and has since held executive leadership positions in consulting, supply chain services, and public education organizations. He has experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare and education. Mike holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Outside of work, Mike spends his time with family, including his two boys, and tries to keep up with their many activities. He loves to travel and explore new and familiar places, tasting new wines while he is at it.
Ashleigh Gunter
Managing PartnerAshleigh partners with her clients to solve their most challenging problems. Her practice focuses on the intersection between strategy and people. She has deep experience in strategy development and implementation of key strategies, organizational design, executive coaching and change management. Ashleigh combines her experience, an understanding of organizational culture and a practical mindset to meet her clients’ needs. With over 25 years of consulting experience, Ashleigh has deep expertise in advising education and healthcare industry in dramatically changing marketplaces to the operational effectiveness required to stay competitive. Ashleigh also practices in the non-profit, consumer goods, financial services, and energy industries on a wide range of strategic, organizational, and operational topics. She has an M.B.A. with a focus in Strategic Management and Organizational Change from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Denver with a concentration in Finance.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, and baking. In addition to being a Dougy Center advocate and board member, Ashleigh is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and Demo Team Leader.
Matt Bader

He is a trusted advisor who thrives on building lasting partnerships and driving high-quality solutions for clients. With more than 13 years of strategy, program leadership, and organizational transformation experience in a wide variety of challenging and ambiguous environments. Matt brings a deep knowledge of implementing enterprise-wide transformations across people, process, and technology domains. He works with a broad range of clients on their organizational challenges and opportunities and has advised clients in the retail, education, finance, and professional services industries and served as a leader in the military and nonprofit sectors. Matt graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Business Management and is a Certified Scrum Master, a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist, and has certifications in program management, LEAN, and contract management. He has spent the majority of his academic, military, and consulting career studying and employing character-based leadership principles in challenging and ambiguous environments. Tony Schweiss

Matthew Jamison

Kayla Wopschall

Talent Acquisition LeadAs TGG's Talent Acquisition Lead, Heidi helps coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process for our candidates from start to finish. Heidi creates a welcoming and supportive process for all new potential hires transitioning from Applicant status to getting them landed on their first client engagement. In addition to talent acquisition, Heidi is also responsible for spearheading and planning most of TGG's company events playing a key role in contributing to TGG’s culture. Prior to joining TGG, Heidi was a physical education teacher for 10 years in various public school districts. She holds a B.S. in Physical Education from the University of Arizona as well as an M.S. in School Health Education from West Virginia University. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her two kids and husband.

Rothana Mao
Office CoordinatorRho keeps the wheels turning and running smoothly at the TGG office. In addition to being a key point of contact for our vendors, and employees, she helps plan and coordinates all company events, including team building, development workshops, and internal operations. Rho plays a key role in daily bookkeeping, benefits administration, and system administration. She coordinates and assists new hires in onboarding and is a resource for most HR Administrative and System administrative needs. She works directly with our business manager and partners, taking on ad-hoc projects and providing additional support in many areas of daily operations. Outside of the office, Rho enjoys cooking, listening to audiobooks, and enjoying time outdoors with her family.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys coaching high school and youth sports and spending time with his wife, two sons, and large extended family.
