Mike Gunter
Founding PartnerMike is passionate about client service and leading people. He founded The Gunter Group in 2011 with a different philosophy on consulting and building teams. He enjoys watching people grow, develop, and discover their true path. Mike is a visionary and forward thinker with extensive multinational experience and a proven track record of serving clients. With more than 25 years of business leadership and consulting in a wide variety of challenging and ambiguous environments, Mike got his start in the industry at Deloitte Consulting and has since held executive leadership positions in consulting, supply chain services, and public education organizations. He has experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare and education. Mike holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Outside of work, Mike spends his time with family, including his two boys, and tries to keep up with their many activities. He loves to travel and explore new and familiar places, tasting new wines while he is at it.
Ashleigh Gunter
Founding PartnerAshleigh partners with her clients to solve their most challenging problems. Her practice focuses on the intersection between strategy and people. She has deep experience in strategy development and implementation of key strategies, organizational design, executive coaching and change management. Ashleigh combines her experience, an understanding of organizational culture and a practical mindset to meet her clients’ needs. With over 25 years of consulting experience, Ashleigh has deep expertise in advising education and healthcare organizations in dramatically changing marketplaces to the operational effectiveness required to stay competitive. Ashleigh also practices in the non-profit, consumer goods, financial services, and energy industries on a wide range of strategic, organizational, and operational topics. She has an M.B.A. with a focus in Strategic Management and Organizational Change from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Denver with a concentration in Finance.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, and baking. In addition to being a Dougy Center advocate and board member, Ashleigh is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and Demo Team Leader.
Matt Bader
Managing PartnerMatt's passion and leadership purpose is all about helping teams reach their highest potential. He loves building and leading high-performing teams and seeing what can be accomplished when strong values, sound strategy, and a relentless commitment to execution collide. He is a trusted advisor who thrives on building lasting partnerships and driving high-quality solutions for clients. With more than 15 years of strategy, program leadership, and organizational transformation experience in a wide variety of challenging and ambiguous environments. Matt brings a deep knowledge of implementing enterprise-wide transformations across people, process, and technology domains. He works with a broad range of clients on their organizational challenges and opportunities and has advised clients in the retail, education, finance, and professional services industries and served as a leader in the military and nonprofit sectors. Matt graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Business Management and is a Certified Scrum Master, a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist, and has certifications in program management, LEAN, and contract management. He has spent the majority of his academic, military, and consulting career studying and employing character-based leadership principles in challenging and ambiguous environments. Outside of being a loving husband and father, Matt enjoys the intersection of all things hockey, heavy metal, fitness, and beer.
Tony Schweiss

A former Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, Tony's leadership and management philosophy is tempered by a career of bringing calm and planning to high-impact, high-stress scenarios. His track record of success in defining and overcoming challenges in demanding environments has led to consistent portrayals of him as an outstanding manager and a leader among his peers. His skill set is under-girded by his formal education in the Humanities, holding a Bachelors Honors degree in both Philosophy and Theology from the University of Notre Dame. In addition to an aggressive reading habit, Tony is deeply interested in everything that the Sierra Nevada mountains have to offer. Jim Calko

Jim has spent years driving change in a variety of areas within various client organizations with a focus on leading teams through digital transformation. Jim has led program and project teams, coached Agile teams and product managers, as well as worked with teams through new product development, process improvement, and developing communications strategy. Jim serves as TGG's Agile Services Lead and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Portland, an M.A. in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.A. in Political Science from Youngstown State University. He is also a certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, Agile Coach and Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach.
Matthew Jamison
Principal Consultant, Tech Services LeaderMatt is an experienced solutions architect with a results-oriented understanding of the intersection between reality and architectural theory. He has the ability to plan, develop, and implement large-scale projects while maintaining impeccable attention to detail. With 20 years of functional information technology experience, Matt has end-to-end IT knowledge from layer 1 networking to application API interaction. Principal Consultant, Strategy Practice LeaderSteve leads the Strategy Practice at The Gunter Group where he partners with senior executives and leadership teams in the experience of creating long-term strategies. A gifted facilitator, teacher, and thought partner, he has spent over twenty years advising Fortune 500 companies, government entities, academic institutions, and not-for-profits across a variety of industries and geographies, including extensive international experience.
Steve is passionate about empowering clients to establish and execute their organization’s strategy by guiding them to answer the questions, “Where are we going?” and “How will we get there?” Beyond consulting, Steve serves on not-for-profit boards and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the topics of strategy, finance, economics, and organizational behavior.
Steve holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Boston College and a M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. His mix of experience has given him the ability to better understand people and the business issues they face and create real solutions, whether operational or technical. He is known for being a trusted advisor and leader that is always seeking to learn from others. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Utah and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant as well. In his free time Dave enjoys spending time with his family, and all things outdoors including climbing, camping, and disc golf.

Previously, she served as a Senior Consultant at TGG, partnering with clients to optimize business functions and enhance organizational effectiveness. Now, she leads TGG's People and Culture team, focusing on strengthening workplace structure, enhancing employee experience and engagement, and driving performance. As Chief of Staff, Laura oversees TGG’s strategic planning and leadership team governance, ensuring alignment between people, processes, and the firm’s objectives.
With over 15 years of experience across diverse industries, Laura is passionate about fostering positive work environments. She is recognized for her strong yet compassionate leadership and her ability to navigate complex challenges with grace and collaboration. Laura’s expertise includes leadership coaching, organizational design, change management, business operations, talent development, and project management. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. Heidi leads TGG’s onboarding process for new TGGers joining the organization and ensures all new team members feel prepared and supported when they join the firm. Prior to joining TGG, Heidi was a physical education teacher for 10 years. She holds a B.S. in Physical Education from the University of Arizona as well as an M.S. in School Health Education from West Virginia University. Client Development SpecialistAs TGG’s Client Development Specialist, Molly supports TGG’s Marketing, Sales, and Client Development initiatives, and works directly with various teams across TGG. Molly loves to seek out new challenges and take on initiatives that increase efficiency and effectiveness. Prior to joining TGG, Molly spent time in HR at a food distribution company along with multinational retail organizations where she managed HR in local markets. People CoordinatorPaige joined the TGG team after spending 3 years as an e-commerce website manager. Ryan’s marketing experience includes the Sports Marketing, Hospitality, Restaurant, and Education industries. Vivian Dhadli-Robinson

Due to her detail-oriented nature, Vivian operates exceptionally in a generalist role. She is highly adaptable and excels in both ambiguous and clearly-defined situations that require her to become the subject matter expert. With over a decade of experience working in management and consulting roles, Vivian's expertise spans a variety of industries including education, healthcare/health insurance, local government, and international imports. Vivian holds an M.B.A in Finance and a Master's Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School, as well as a B.S. in Business Information Systems from DeVry University.
